Here are our finished EDI and Joker costumes! c: We wore these to Phoenix Comicon, which was great fun; I got to see some old friends and meet new people, and lots of nice folks asked for pictures.

I may make some edits to these before we wear them again (namely to the boot covers—making some for Joker, and adding some details and Velcro to EDI’s to keep them from falling down). Also, EDI needs a gun, don't you think?

Do let me know what you think, and thanks for looking! :D <3

P.S. EDI's head construction/in-progress pics can be found here and here if you're interested.

Hey this is sweet. I have some questions if that's cool, i'm making a joker cosplay and i was just wondering how you broke down the elements of his outfit? Like which bits are separate in the vest? Does that make sense? haha Also did you make the hat because it's awesome!

Sorry for the late response, but I'm always happy to answer questions! c: Joker's vest is actually more than 50 parts; each layer is a small piece of leather sewn or glued/bonded to the layer before. The "sleeves" are sewn to the body of the jacket, and the front and back of the jacket are sewn to the collar (because I used a leather jacket as a base), but everything else is glued. Leather glue is seriously awesome! :3

For WIP pictures of the vest, check my Fanworks page (on Tumblr) here: [link]

And yep, I made the hat! Pics are here: [link] (long story short, I bought a mostly-blue hat and fabric-painted the rest of it navy blue, then used a stencil and some metallic fabric paint for the design. A fine brush, a toothpick, and some good acrylic paints--with fabric medium, of course--were the only materials I used...other than the hat, hehe.)

Thanks so much for the kind words and compliments! And do let me know if you have more questions. I will answer Tumblr Asks (you can send them anonymously if you don't have a Tumblr username) more quickly, though, because they forward to my email. Hope this helps a bit. c:

You're welcome ^^ If I could actually drive (and had a car) I'd want a bag that says that :D

Hehe, well, if you have a bike or scooter or something similar, maybe you could say "my other VEHICLE is the Normandy"! ;)
